This policy explains what information MadeInAP collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both account data (people who register or claim companies) and business profile data (company listings on the platform).
MadeInAP creates business profiles using publicly available business information — such as company name, industry, district/city, and business registration identifiers from public and government sources — to improve manufacturer discovery. This is business information, not private personal data. Unclaimed profiles are clearly labelled, and companies can claim their profile, verify ownership, and manage their information at any time.
When you register, claim a company, or send an inquiry, we collect details such as your name, business email, mobile number, designation, GST number (for ownership verification), and the content of your messages. Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes. We collect basic technical logs (IP, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
To operate the platform: displaying company profiles, delivering buyer inquiries to suppliers, verifying company ownership claims, sending transactional emails (approvals, password resets, inquiry alerts), preventing fraud, and improving the service. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Claimed companies can correct their profile directly from their dashboard. Anyone may request correction of inaccurate information by emailing info@madeinap.com.
Company owners may request removal of their business profile, and account holders may request deletion of their account data, by emailing info@madeinap.com from an address associated with the business or account. We verify and act on such requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
We use essential cookies for login sessions and preferences (like dark mode). Third-party services embedded in pages (e.g. Google Maps) may set their own cookies under their own policies.
We apply reasonable technical safeguards (hashed passwords, restricted database access, HTTPS). Data is retained while your account or profile is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and operational purposes.
