The number grows regularly as companies register or claim their profiles, and as we add public business data for new companies. Check the live count on our homepage.

No — searching and browsing is open to everyone. You can send an inquiry as a guest with just your name, mobile, and email. Creating a free account lets you track your inquiries and save companies for later.

An inquiry goes to one specific manufacturer or product. An RFQ (Request for Quote) is a broader requirement you post once — matching manufacturers across the relevant category get notified and can send you competing quotes, so you can compare and choose. See Post a Requirement.

It means that profile was created from publicly available business information, and the actual company hasn't taken ownership of it yet. You can still send an inquiry — it will be delivered as soon as the company claims and verifies their profile. Unclaimed profiles don't show a trust score or verified badge.

A verified company has claimed their profile and passed our review process — including GST and business identity checks. It's a stronger trust signal than an unclaimed, public-data profile.

Yes — save companies you're interested in (the ☆ button on any profile), then use "Compare selected" from your dashboard to see them side by side on trust score, certifications, products, and more.

MadeInAP creates basic business profiles using publicly available information (such as government MSME registries) to help buyers discover manufacturers who aren't online yet. If that's your company, you can claim it for free — see the next question.

Go to Claim Your Company, search for your business name, and submit your details along with your GST number for verification. Our team reviews claims — usually within 1–2 business days — and once approved, you get full control of the profile.

Update your company information, logo, products, images, contact details, and certifications. You'll also receive any buyer inquiries that were sent to your profile before you claimed it, directly in your dashboard.

Verification happens after claiming, through GST and business identity checks, certification review, and — where applicable — a factory audit. Verified companies get a badge and generally rank higher in search. It's free.

Once your profile has product categories assigned, you'll be notified in your dashboard whenever a matching buyer requirement is posted. You can browse and quote on any open RFQ from the "RFQs for you" tab.
